CONGRATULATIONS TO JOHN MASSARO (Chair, Run/Get Fit Committee), NEAL KALIS & BOB McGRATH (Co-Chairs, Get Fit Committee) and the 2011 RUN COMMITTEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was the culmination of months of hard work by John, Neal, Bob and everyone on the 2011 Run Committee. What a smashing success! There were over 1,100 runners AND over 500 walkers TOTALING 1,700! All the stats this year surpassed the performance from last year! The dollars from this fundraiser are still being tallied and will be reported as soon as it becomes available. Those preliminary numbers look good too!

Thanks to the hard work in organizing, marketing, expense control and the actual performance by John and his team, we have proven that the Rotary Club of Weston can rise to any challenge!

Because of them, we can all be very proud of today's achievement! This achievement is especially significant in light of some who predicted failure and said it could not be done!!!! Against all odds, we prevailed! Never doubt Rotarians who are committed, determined and focused! Remember that "Success has many fathers, failure is always an orphan" !
